Terms and conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using our website or requesting building and refurbishment services from NB Improvements.

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of the NB Improvements website. By accessing or using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of our website immediately. NB Improvements has been trading across the West Midlands, England since May 2023, delivering residential and commercial building services.

2. Use of Website

This website is provided for general informational purposes and to enable clients to submit enquiries or request project estimates. You agree not to misuse this website, introduce malicious software, or attempt unauthorized access to our servers, contact forms, or hosting infrastructure.

3. Quotes and Estimates

Any initial pricing, figures, or estimates provided via this website or through our online quote request forms are preliminary estimates only. Formal, binding quotes are issued only after a comprehensive in-person site survey and assessment by our trade specialists. Final project costs may vary depending on actual site conditions, structural requirements, material selections, and changes to project scope.

4. Services and Payment Terms

All building, refurbishment, trade supply, and installation services are agreed individually and confirmed in writing on a per-project basis. Specific payment schedules, stage payments, deposits, and final balance terms are set out clearly in your individual project contract or formal invoice. Work commences only once agreed contractual terms and necessary initial deposits are in place.

5. Cancellations

Cancellation terms, notice periods, and applicable fees are agreed on a per-project basis at the time of booking and contract signing. Because building work involves scheduled trades and tailored material orders, cancellations made after procurement or work commencement may incur costs for work completed and non-refundable materials purchased.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NB Improvements shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of revenue, anticipated savings, or business interruption arising from the use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Intellectual Property

All website design, project photographs, written copy, brand graphics, and logos displayed on this website are the intellectual property of NB Improvements unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, or redistribute any material from this site without our prior written consent.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of this website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
